The Como Wurlitzer Organ was previously owned and operated by John Fuhrmann and Ray Clements as Stirling Theatre Organ Productions being installed in the Karrinyup Community Centre. and leased for 48 years to the City of Stirling for $1 a year.

A group of enthusiastic volunteers assisted in the maintenance and improvements to the organ during that period.

Six major concerts were held each year with the proceeds being used for upkeep and improvements to the organ.

The Final Concert was held in April 2023 and removal of the organ from Karrinyup commenced shortly after with generous support from the City of Stirling. Following the removal a 12 month restoration program got under way prior to the organ's reinstallation at the Como Theatre as part of an Arts collective.
